Infosys has been involved in installation, customization and roll-out of various Peoplesoft applications since June of 1996. This includes Peoplesoft Financials, Peoplesoft HR, Peoplesoft Payroll modules utilizing Peoplecode, Peopletool, and SQR using the Oracle database on the backend.

Infosys has been involved in the following projects:

1. New York State Payroll System: Conversion from a 30 year old legacy system to a completely automated Peoplesoft Payroll system with newly designed client/server architecture. This is the largest Peoplesoft installation in the world processing payroll for more than 250,000 employees of the New York State. Infosys was included in the then Andersen proposal to provide Peoplesoft skills, Oracle Database Administration and IBM RS6000 system Administration for the New York State Office of the State Comptroller. This project was implemented successfully and is currently fully operational. Infosys International Inc. continues to provide AIX Systems Administration Services to the New York State Office of the State Comptroller till today.

2. Port Authority of New York and New Jersey: Infosys was involved with Andersen to customize and implement the Peoplesoft HR product for the Port Authority. This included customization of the Peoplesoft code with Peoplecode, Peopletools, and SQR for generating various reports.

3. Delaware First Peoplesoft Implementation: Working with Accenture for implementation of Peoplesoft applications for the State of Delaware. This involves similar activities as most of the other projects.

4. Peoplesoft implementation at the Internal Revenue Service Center in Washington D.C.: A short term project for the implementation of Peoplesoft Financials on the Informix database.

5. Stonybrook Research Foundation: Infosys helped this organization in migrating from the statewide system into a new Peoplesoft system.

6. Infosys has been actively involved with implementation of Peoplesoft Financials at Ernst & Young in New Jersey. Infosys employees maintain databases at the production level.

In addition, Infosys has provided staff augmentation on many projects for client across the United States.
